Hotel The Spittal of Glenshee (Perth)

This is the site of the oldest inn in the United Kingdom. It is known that it has been in continuous use since 961AD and has had a chequered history throughout the years. It is certainly at the highest altitude being just over 640 meters above sea level.

The hotel is located just off the A93 from Perth and Blairgowrie to Braemar. An excellent base for skiing being 8 min from the Glenshee Ski Slopes and close enough to give the skiing at Lecht or Aviemore a go. Close to Royal Deesife and set amidst magnificent scenery, the hotel is also a good base for hillwalkers, golfers and othe outdoor activities.
